Product & Accessory Design Competition

Sustainability is essential for keeping up with human needs in the long term. And, it was realized only in the last three decades that unchecked industrialization can adversely impact the environment and, in turn, society. People and organizations started grasping the importance of sustainability in conserving the environment as a whole. And, in turn, improving the quality of life for everyone. In this competition you have to design one interior accessory (e.g. Sculpture, vase, light, and chandelier) with sustainable materials such as wood, rattan, cane, cotton, linen, etc.

The challenge is to Create any interior accessory with sustainable material

  1. Participants can use any suitable sustainable material for creating the accessories
  2. The submission will be in a form of actual product or sheets with detailed sketches and information about the material which have been used

Judging Criteria (Total- 100 Points)

 

Points distribution criteria

  1. Concept and inspiration – 30 Points
  2. How creatively the materials have been used – 30 points
  3. Final output – 40 points

 

 

Rules and Regulations: 

 

  1. Only for students of grade 10th and above and for college/university students
  2. Participation can be individually as well as in a team of maximum of 4 members.
  3. Students should be in school uniform and should carry ID cards.
  4. Participant’s model or Sheet and presentation should stick to the category given.
