Poetry is a kind of oration that owes the credit to shake the world and transform it, resulting into a change. Those who write poetry, gain an opportunity to identify the social causes that require a revolution to bring positive changes in the world. Environment too is a social concern that has been affected largely by human population. Youth have got immense talent and they have the courage to speak to protect environment and sustaining it as beautiful as it has ever been. Many young brains have enlightened the world on nature through their poetry and they have got accolades as well.Indians have got much talent and immense writings have already flourished where as we can explore more talent and talented youth who can share their brimming ideas to the world. So, Manav Rachna takes that privilege to welcome those brains to write and share their original and powerful poems on nature with us and to become famous icons.

Evaluation Criteria- 20 Marks each component

  • Presentation after submission of the content

Eligibility:

Participants from all backgrounds, genders, and geographies are welcome. 

  • The Competitions are open to everyone who is a student and is currently enrolled in a program of study in a recognized University, College or School and has a valid ID card.
  • The Organizing Committee can close the registration to any of its competition/s without any notice whenever it deems fit.

Guidelines:

  • Theme is ‘Environment and its Sustainability’
  • Participants will write original poems that do not encompass plagiarism.
  • Only solo entries are allowed.
  • No offensive language or profanities that hurt the canon and rules of Indian society is allowed.
  • Poems in Hindi or English language can be submitted.
  • Use of any foreign or regional language is not permitted.
  • Poems must contain minimum 8 lines and maximum 14 lines.
  • MRIIRS will retain all rights of this competition.
  • Participants will be judged on the basis of fluency, spontaneity, wit, sense of humor, writing skills, and presentation to the listeners.
  • Decision of the judges will be final and binding.
  • Best poems will be shortlisted for the presentation at the campus.
