Rules and Requirements: 

Match Rules:

•  Each match will be a best-of-1 until the semifinals.
• Semifinal and final matches will be played in a best-of-3 format.
• Time per round: Standard game setting.
• Character selection: Players may select any character.
• Stages will be set to random selection.

General Guidelines:

• Players will face off in 1v1 matches, with the winner advancing to the next round.
• Standard Tekken 8 rules will apply.
• Any form of cheating or unsportsmanlike behavior will result in immediate disqualification.
• Participants have to carry an official ID card.

Judgement Criteria:

For School & University:

The tournament winners will be determined based on:

• Match victories: Winning rounds and progressing through the bracket.
• Finals performance: Best-of-three format to determine the champion.
• In case of any disputes, the tournament coordinators will have the final say.

Disqualification Rules:

• Unsportsmanlike conduct, including verbal abuse or cheating, will result in immediate disqualification.
• Failure to appear within the designated match time will result in a forfeit.
