I4C MHA Activity: Awareness against Cybercrime
About the Event
The event will be organized by Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), Ministry of Home Affairs to make people aware about myths related to common cybersecurity misconceptions and the threats & preventions. Of late, cybercrime in the country has been on sharp rise. Unsuspecting citizens are falling prey to various online scams losing their hard-earned money and mental peace. Cybercriminals cannot be defeated without the active involvement of citizens. Recognizing this, the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) is calling on the youth across the country to unite in the fight against cybercrime.
The information would be disseminated through a Cyber-desk for distribution of information brochures and popularization of the Social Media Handle “Cyberdost” of I4C, Ministry of Home Affairs, where latest and authentic information on cybercrime is updated on regular basis. A Selfie Booth will be the point of attraction among students.
The I4C MHA Activity will be organized as follows-
Workshop on ‘The Power of AI-Generated Content’: Participants can be requested to make content on “Awareness against Cybercrime” and the best content will be posted on MHA/I4C Social media handles for cyber awareness nationwide + Goodies for the winners.
“Reel-Making Competition” can request participants to make a reel on “Awareness against Cybercrime” and the best reel/reels will be posted on MHA/I4C Social media handles + Goodies for the winners.
Design of Mascot for I4C, MHA by the participants and the best will be selected and awarded by the I4C, MHA.
Cyber Tau:
- Mascot for Cyber Dost-MHA.
- Dressed up in Haryanavi outfit (Dhoti Kurta) with 1930 printed Lathi.
- Using Haryanavi language.
- Roam around the campus raising awareness slogans.
- Get Cyber dost social media handles followed by people.
- VOXPOP with students and faculties
- RJ will be invited to host the quiz related to awareness on Cybercrimes.
- Some exciting games like Spin-the-Wheel Prizes or taking out Lottery will be played with the students to follow @CyberDost & win exciting prizes.
Take away from the Event:
- Spreading awareness against increasing Cybercrime in the country along with information on Cyber Hygiene best practices.
- “CyberDost Ambassadors” Program – Select interested students to represent CyberDost in their colleges/universities. —students with best output will be awarded at I4C level.
- Announcement about Internship Opportunity at I4C –in the areas of AI, Mass Communications and other relevant areas to the selected students.
- Provide information on the Cyber Volunteer program of I4C, MHA.
Note: There will be NO Registration Fees for the event.
