About: The Decoupage Art Workshop introduces participants to the creative technique of decorating surfaces through layering printed papers, textures, and decorative elements. Students will transform a simple base object into a unique artistic piece by combining composition, design, and finishing techniques. The workshop encourages creativity, experimentation, and attention to detail while exploring the art of surface transformation
Rules & Regulations
Eligibility
- The activity is open only to School of Design students and MRIIRS students.
- Valid school ID must be presented during registration or check-in.
- Each participant must complete registration and pay the entry fee before the deadline.
- Activity Title: Decoupage Art Workshop
- Mode: Individual Participation
- Duration: 90–120 minutes
- Theme: Transforming Surfaces through Creative Layering
- Each participant will create one final decoupage artwork
Activity Process Rules
- Participants will get their own decoupage kit
- Base surface (MDF board / wooden object/canvas/old furniture/ bottle – as applicable)
- Printed decoupage sheets/napkins
- Adhesives & sealants
- Brushes & basic tools
- Decorative elements (limited)
Fair Practice & Conduct
- Intentional damage or disturbance to another participant’s work is strictly prohibited.
- Participants must maintain the cleanliness of their workspace.
- Any damage to tools or materials may lead to disqualification.
- Unsportsmanlike behaviour or misconduct will not be tolerated.
Technical Guidelines
- Participants are advised to wear an apron or protective clothing.
- Use of personal decorative materials is allowed.
- All provided materials and tools must be returned after completion.

General Rules
- Participants must report 15 minutes prior to the activity start time.
- Late entries will not be entertained once the workshop begins.
- Any disputes must be reported immediately to the organizing team.
