JAM - Just A Minute

This competition shall test the rhetorical skills of a student by providing them with a common law issue on which they will be speaking their opinions just for a minute. The low time limit shall give them a chance to prepare spontaneously and they will be judged on the basis of strong argumentation put forth by them.

RULES:

1) All the participants will get a chance to pick a lot out of the bowl. Each lot will have a general law issue.

2) After picking a lot, students will get 5 minutes to prepare a one minute opinion-based speech on the topic.

3) One-by-one students will present their argumentation which cannot last more than 1 and half minute and not less than a minute.

4) Students will not be allowed to switch the topic in any manner.

5) Students will be judged on the basis of the following criteria:
