About: The Tekken Tournament is an exciting 1v1 fighting competition where players showcase their reflexes, strategy, and mastery of characters in intense head-to-head battles. Participants will compete in a single elimination format, aiming to outplay their opponents and advance through the bracket to claim victory. The event provides a thrilling platform for students to demonstrate their fighting game skills while promoting competitive spirit and sportsmanship
Rules & Regulations
Eligibility
- The competition is open only to school and MRIIRS students.
- Valid school ID must be presented during registration or check-in.
- Each participant must complete registration and pay the entry fee before the deadline.
- Game Title: Tekken (latest available version).
- Mode: 1v1 (Single Elimination format).
- Each match will be: Best of 3 rounds
- Finals: Best of 5 rounds
- Match time and settings will follow standard competitive rules.
Match Rules
- Players must report to the tournament desk 10 minutes before their scheduled match.
- If a player fails to appear within 5 minutes of a match call, it may result in disqualification.
- Button configuration must be completed before the match begins.
- No coaching is allowed during active matches.
- Players may select any available character.
Game Settings
- Default game settings will be used.
- Random stage selection unless both players agree otherwise.
- Pausing the game during a match (without valid reason) may lead to a round loss.
- In case of technical issues, the round may be replayed at the organizer’s discretion.
Fair Play & Conduct
- Any use of cheats, exploits, or unfair modifications will result in immediate disqualification.
- Unsportsmanlike behavior, abusive language, or physical misconduct will not be tolerated.
- The decision of the organizing committee will be final and binding.
Technical Guidelines
- Consoles and controllers (if provided by organizers) must be handled carefully.
- Players may bring their own controllers (subject to inspection).
- The organizers are not responsible for personal belongings.
General Rules
- Participants must maintain discipline and follow event instructions.
- Any disputes must be reported immediately to tournament officials.
- The tournament is conducted to promote healthy competition and sportsmanship.
