About the Event:

The event is about exploring the website designing skills of students, motivating the students to learn with fun. Having a website that inspires people, feeds their curiosity, and makes them want to sign-up, buy a ticket, and attend is crucial when designing a website. Students can do all of this with their website design concept. However, it’s not as simple as just throwing all the necessary information onto web page. Students need to think about how they present their information, the emotions they want to draw out of, and how their design reflects. Finally the event will help the participants to improve their learning, exploring and designing skills.

Rules:

  • Maximum 2 members per team.
  • Students have to design 3+ pages website based on any one of the specified topics.
  • First page must be your Homepage (Containing LOGO/picture depicting the topic and the website name).
  • Two webpages must be dedicated to admin to perform CRUD operations and other to view details.
  • Use of USB drive is strictly prohibited

Round 1:

Time: 30 minutes

Teams will have to create homepage for website in HTML, CSS on any of the following topic:

  1. E-Flight
  2. Shopping
  3. Travel & Tourism

Round 2:

Time: 60 minutes

Teams have to create admin page to perform CRUD operations in mysql database of website related to above topic selected in round1 using php.
